About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior React Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, frontend architecture, and a passion for building scalable, user-friendly products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React.js.
- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Implement state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of React Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle, and modern React patterns.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or MobX.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Tailwind CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and npm/yarn.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Next.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques and web vitals.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Leadership or team mentoring experience.
